The evidence accumulates practically by the hour as to why the GOPee needs to die. There is no way to reform such an irredeemable gang of liars and thieves. GOPee Delenda Est!
In round numbers roughly 2/3 of Republicans are more conservative than Sasse & Romney, but 1/3 are less so, including notably Murkowski, Collins & Shelby.
Even West Virginia's Democrat Joe Manchin is slightly more conservative than those three.
But "moderate" Republican doesn't necessarily mean anti-Trump, as senators like Graham show.
Bottom line: the time to make Republicans generally more conservative is now, it's the time for recruiting & preparing primary opponents to challenge our vulnerable "moderates".
Any other time will do nothing but help elect more Democrats and destroy our country all the faster.
