These instances do not include moments of personal dissatisfaction or times of protest.
While it is legal to express yourself in whatever way you so chose, it is illegal to fly an American flag upside down unless you are in a life or death situation. People have faced legal charges for flying an American flag upside down.
Does the “life or death” apply only to a person/persons, or does it include the life or death of a Republic?
I have already started putting my flag stamps on upside down on my mail
Fly them correctly. Don’t disrespect those who gave their lives for our liberty and freedom. But make it known by maybe other signs and flags where you stand.
I simply won’t fly one at all.
The America I grew up in and served to defend is gone.

Some clever folks with graphic artist skills could create a new “Republic of Kleptocracy” flag.
Perhaps it could show a big fat guy with a big pile of money (moneybags) emptying them out through a hole in the top of the Capitol building.
I fly the ‘An Appeal to Heaven’ flag.
This is a kleptocracy.
They are actually fairly common throughout history.
The country has been bought and paid for by Wall Street and Silicon Valley big bucks.
We actually had a period like this earlier in our history—in the post civil war period.
Each Senator was owned (occasionally just rented) by big oil, big steel, big banks, big railroads etc.
It was not ended until Teddy Roosevelt stepped in and busted the trusts.
Bought a Sons of Liberty flag to start flying the 20th. American flag has been put away at this time.

My big American Flag has not been put up since 03 November, (please check my tagline below).
We may do what my Dad did after WWI to when he passed in the 1970’s:
Register Democrat and vote independent.
Fly the Bennington Flag. I did for 8 years under whats his name.

Delete the ‘Republic’ and you’ve got it right. We are not a republic, a union, or a nation anymore.
We’re a corruptocracy.
This is not the former.
The tactics of the left have prevailed for the moment and any pushback will only embolden the suppression of freedom.
There are no electeds or Trump supporters willing to address the false flags involved in this.
If you fly the Flag with respect you show you still believe in at least the concept of America and set a good example. One big problem is that there are not enough of us showing others how to act and behave.

My flag is coming down on the 20th. Will put the Gadsden up. They used to fly together, but had Trump2020 up. Time to take Old Glory and T2020 down and place them in a drawer. Heart sick.
Yes, I never understood flying the “Union flag” once affirmative action, abortion, etc. were upheld by law. Show your patriotism by flying a Gadsden or Betsy Ross flag.
Our governor in NJ had the Mississippi flag removed from a national park here because it had the Confederate battle flag on it; meanwhile the NJ flag proudly waving in front of our gubmint buildings is the same flag that flew over the slave state of NJ before it outlawed slavery a few years before the Civil War.
