NO, you made a COMPLETE A** out of yourself, showing that that you are nothing but a clueless blowhard and that reading comprehension is not your strong suite. Fireworks ARE ILLEGAL in ALL BOROUGHS of NYC. I don't have to deal with crap like in the article below and that was my point.

stay home redneck Oh really? I know Manhattan like the back of my hand, having worked there for years at One Penn Plaza and having gone there for almost 20, ignorant assuming fool.

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- State police will join the effort against illegal fireworks that have led to skyrocketing complaints across the five boroughs.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced the move at his Monday press conference, and that the New York State Police Fireworks Enforcement Detail will focus on fireworks coming into the state from Pennsylvania.

In New York City, 24,560 illegal fireworks complaints have been made to 311 since Jan. 1, 2020, according to city data accessed Monday. In the same time period last year, there were 92 complaints, according to the same data.

On Staten Island, there have been 1,047 311 calls related to illegal fireworks so far this year, while there were only four last year, according to city data.
