Do you really think, for one minute, that if Biden takes office and Trump returns to "regular citizen" status, that Twitter will not ban him from that platform permanently within milliseconds??
He's going to need his own platform. Fortunately for us all, he can afford to finance one. And he should. Either that or underwrite the expansion of an existing conservative-friendly platform.
But honestly, I think he'd do better having his own soapbox.
Twitter will probably allow Trump to make his own tweets. It’s good for the company because Trump brings in millions of users. But like you said, Trump should create his own version of a social network.
I somehow don’t see Trump as a Newt Gingrich kind of guy — demanding action from the sidelines. I think he may want to make some money to make up for what he spent and missed out on the last five years. His kids may mount some third party effort, but it wouldn’t come to much, IMHO.
I think it will be a race to see which is buried first, Fox or the Republican Party.
