The optics of an arrest will favor Trump in public opinion. My significant other who is a left “leaning” Democrat said this AM “Honey yea I think they should look into this stuff, we don’t want to win this way”. When you have my girl thinking this way...well you have that discussion happening around many breakfast tables this AM. You see how furious they are over at CNN and MSNBC..they are really panicked. The angry tone is palatable, gone is the smug gloating. They got into a pissing context with a skunk.
Because this was a federal election, the feds would have jurisdiction if the Michigan AG looks the other way as she will. President Trump just has to get AG Barr and his team to do their job.
