Article 28. The state maintains public order and suppresses treasonable and other counter-revolutionary activities; it penalizes actions that endanger public security and disrupt the socialist economy and other criminal activities, and punishes and reforms criminals.
I used to think that the internet was the greatest, freest tool of communication ever made, that it would bring in an era of global knowledge-sharing that would elevate humanity.
I’ve come to realize that the internet has become the greatest tool for brainwashing and manipulation of human beings ever made. It spreads far more lies than truth, and more disinformation than knowledge. It is used to make people think they are in solidarity with their friends and neighbors, when in reality they are agreeing with a room full of Chinese subversives or some such.
And now we carry the internet around with us 24x7.
