Alabama and Georgia put on a display on Saturday, proving why they are the top two teams in the SEC. The Dawgs lost, but Georgia fans can take solace in two things: One, everyone in the East has at least one loss, so everything that UGA wants to achieve is still on the table. Two, the Dawgs are unlikely to take much damage in the rankings or, more important, in the eyes of the College Football Playoff committee.
Or, maybe UGA fans wont find these thoughts that comforting:

My Georgia Tech team just lost to Clemson 73-7, they are 2-3 overall but the NCAA just said they are bowl game eligible.

The starting QB at Georgia is a 3rd string talent. Georgia needs to find a better QB.
UGa had better QBs but they all left: Justin Fields and Jamie Newman. There is former USC starting QB JT Daniels but for some reason he is a non-entity.
I see the usual calls for Malzahn to be fired, and now some want Auburn to hire Hugh Freeze.
I stay out of that mess. I grew up in Auburn. I’ve gone to Auburn schools and Auburn U. My dad taught at AU. Most in my family went to AU and played in the AUMB. Hubby went to AU, AUMB, too.
Coaches may come and coaches may go. I will ALWAYS be an Auburn fan. It’s family.
