Even if true it is not illegal for a son to give his father money unless taxes were not paid
It is illegal to sell influence in the US government to corrupt foreign entities, and have your son collect the money on your behalf.
We are not talking about a son doing a real job and giving his dad some money here.
We are talking about a corrupt Joe Biden, using his son as a way to channel money to himself after using his position as Vice President to get an AG dismissed in the Ukraine etc, when they looked too closely at his son's corrupt dealings, and selling access to the US Government.

it should have been released 1-2 months ago.

Trump and his DoJ have had four years to take whatever action they feel is appropriate wrt Joe Biden and have chosen to do nothing.
If Guiliani comes up with a smoking gun and DoJ indictments in the next two weeks that would be most appreciated. Otherwise this is just noise to stir up the base before an election.
