I’ve been on this protocol since April

https://www.evms.edu/media/evms_public/departments/internal_medicine/EVMS_Critical_Care_COVID-19_Protocol.pdf

Prophylaxis
While there is extremely limited data, the following “cocktail” may have a role in the prevention/ mitigation of COVID-19 disease. This cocktail is inexpensive, safe, and widely available. It should be noted that a recent publication suggests that melatonin my reduce the risk of COVID-19 infection, while many papers suggest that Vitamin D deficiency increases the risk of infection and is associated with a significantly worse outcome.
• Melatonin (slow release): Begin with 0.3mg and increase as tolerated to 2 mg at night
• Vitamin D3 1000-3000 u/day. Note RDA (Recommended Daily Allowance) is 800-1000 u/day. The safe upper-dose daily limit is likely < 4000 u/day.
• Vitamin C 500 mg BID (twice daily) and Quercetin 250 mg daily Note that prolonged high dose quercetin has very rarely been associated with hypothyroidism. should be used with caution in patients with hypothyroidism and TSH levels should be monitored.
• Zinc 50-75 mg/day (elemental zinc). After 1 month, reduce the dose to 30-50 mg/day.
• Famotidine 20-40 mg/day

I had to look up Famotidine (H2 blocker). Couldn't that be taken upon symptoms appearing? It seems to me it would be fast-acting?

I've seen it reported Quercetin helps with the intake of zinc into cells. I take 800 mg every third day or so. I take 5,000 IU of D3 with K daily. I believe the safe level for D3 is 10,000 IU or less for those who don't get many rays?

“ Vitamin D3 1000-3000 u/day. Note RDA (Recommended Daily Allowance) is 800-1000 u/day. The safe upper-dose daily limit is likely < 4000 u/day.”

...

I’ve taken at least 5,000 units of D3 per day for a decade or more.

My doctor tested my d levels and told me I was the only person he ever tested who had adequate levels.

In winter, I take 10,000 units daily.

If I get the flu I follow the vitamin D hammer, taking 35,000 for each of 3 days. Knocks out symptoms and ends it.

You should research getting some copper in there.

About 1 mg copper for every 8 mg of zinc.
