New documents have recently been obtained re Kamala Harris' parents status in CA when Kamala was born there in 1964. They were not legally domiciled permanent residents of the USA. They were in the USA on temporary VISA's. There is now doubt if Kamala Harris is even a 14th Amendment basic citizen, let alone certainly not a "natural born Citizen" since when she was born her parents were not under the full political jurisdiction of the USA. Nope. Still wrong. She was born in Oakland. Her parents were in the US. All three of them were under the jurisdiction of the United States. There is no partial "political jurisdiction".

Sorry, but Ted Cruz (with the backing of a lot of conservatives) made Natural Born Citizen a meaningless concept. Just another in a long list of reasons why I intensely dislike my Senator.

People can argue until they are blue in the face, but this is reality in the 21st century: Anyone who is a citizen by birth, be it to citizen parents or birth on US soil, is eligible to be President. It applied to Obama, Ted Cruz and John McCain, and it applies to Harris. Attacking her with this argument is counterproductive and will just make her a more sympathetic candidate. It will help them build a false narrative of an underprivileged child rising above discrimination and racism. I guess the folks who pushed the Obama birther stuff figure that worked out so well, why not try it again?
