First vanity post since I joined Free Republic in 2008, so I figured I’d make it a doozy.

Proud to announce the release of “Payton Finds His Purpose: A journey of spiritual awakening and Christian rebirth.” This is a conservative Christian fiction book I wrote, illustrated and self-published. It’s a story that parents can share with their children to inoculate them against the liberal indoctrination of public education.

The antagonist in the story is an atheist professor exploiting the issue of climate change for profit and power. The story is provocative and will give pause to our moderate Christian brothers and sisters who inexplicably lean to the left.

This is a non-profit endeavor. It’s about winning hearts and minds. I want to share this work with as many as possible. My wife and I are currently preparing a grass-roots free promotion of the book among churches in several swing states. I’m hoping to generate a few positive reviews to help the cause.

It’s an easy 20-30 minute read (32 pages of 1.5 spaced text/13 pages of graphics.) Please send me a PM if you’re interested in reading the story, and I’ll send you a free Kindle E-book copy.

Apologies for my self-indulgence. Have a good one!

Excellent book, but wish it had more illustrations to capture and hold the younger folk’s attention.

Thanks so much! I’m with you on the illustrations. I actually tried to come up with more, but was confined by my very limited artistic abilities. Thanks again for reading the story and your comments! Much appreciated!
