Socialist Left Premier Daniel Andrews in the Australian State of Victoria has had the most draconian lockdown laws in Australia during the C-19 pandemic and has achieved both the worst health results and the worst economic results of any state in Australia.
Freedom works.
Big Government lockdowns of private business don’t do any good.
The Andrews government rules are so draconian that the federal government has had to send soldiers of the Australian army in to Victoria to help the police do the extra new police work.
This is at a time when the federal government is courageously challenging Chinese bullying. (Thank God for the ANZUS alliance with Donald Trump’s America.)
13 senior doctors have written to Andrews telling him that his lockdown has caused “unprecedented negative economic and social outcomes and negative health outcomes” They state “For the sake of people in Victoria with other medical illnesses, it is vital that Stage 4 restrictions be lifted on schedule in mid-September.”
The Sydney Morning Herald reports that former conservative Prime Minister Tony Abbott has “accused Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews of conducting a "health dictatorship" by putting 5 million Melburnians under "house arrest".”

Would not surprise me that the NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian probably has employed all sorts of nanny tactics, but she’s likely a sweetheart compared to this character running Victori.

The question is which came first: the lockdowns or the rising case rates? Did the case rates go up in spite of the lockdowns or were the lockdowns were in response to an already rising case rate? Sure, California’s lockdowns are some of the strictest in the nation, but the second wave of lockdowns happened after we became #1 in the nation for coronavirus cases. Maybe the same thing happened here?
