The 4 trailing dots are enough to drive any sane person crazy with anticipation wondering what comes next.

Don't even get me started on the ones with 5 dots.....

I frequently end a post or sentence with 4x .... simply because if the reader grasps the meaning of the sentence they will follow the dots to finish the sentence themselves.
