My opinion? I agreed with everything you said. I haven’t worn a mask yet.

I had a dry cough and maybe April. For one night. An odd thing. It just felt like it was sitting in my throat and I have never ever had that in 52 years. I have never had the feeling that mucus was just clinging and sitting to the side of my throat. I felt nothing else. I think I would test positive

I believe it has killed many older people and people with comorbidities. But I think its main purpose was to take down the US economy and the u.s. president and to keep Biden away from everyone and it breaks my heart.

interesting job you had. I know nothing of what protects one from a virus and what kind of things protect one from certain viruses so I am in no position to comment

I am sorry for your losses due to this virus

I know of several who have/had it...some had some Flu-like aches and runny noses (one lost sense of smell), others experienced some stomach cramps and “modified” movements but no long-term explosive diarrhea. Others just felt a little off - kind of like getting ready to be sick but never getting there.

Thanks for your encouragement. He seems to be making small incremental improvements every few days. I hope that keeps on happening. He is getting a lot of prayer support but he has a long road ahead.

East central Illinois - My 20 year old granddaughter tested + early in May - no symptoms. She is going to airplane school and works at Starbucks. Another girl there had tested + and so they tested all the employees. They put her and her family (parents and younger sister in quarantine. Did not test the family - nobody had any symptoms, but they had some kind of strange ailment in Feb. Don’t know if they missed school or work at that time.

Dallas-Ft. Worth area: My cousin’s grandson wrote:”My dad passed away on July 4th to a sudden case of myocarditis. Which is an inflamination of the heart muscle. The preliminary autopsy has come back to us saying it was caused by my dad having COVID-19 at some point. He was tested around father’s day for COVID-19 and came back negative of actively having the virus, but came back positive for the antibodies. Which means he had COVID-19 at some point.” -—”On June 27 at 4 and 5 pm my dad had a slight fever and felt bad, but I was talking to him and joking with him and an hour later he was passing out at home and could not walk and became extremely male. Me and my mom had to rush him to the emergency room and when he first arrived his bpm of his heart was around 30 bpm. Days later he was pretty much gone.”

Doesn’t seem as though he had much in the way of COVID symptoms.

Hi. Still suffering. Some relief yesterday. While I do burn and irritate around the stomach region but the extreme fatigue and breathlessness is what scares me the most.

Going to GI doc this morning re the ONLY finding I’ve had so far after 2 ER visits, no COVID twice, and no mono or Lyme.

Tomorrow is internist.

If I don’t get any more ideas, I’m going to ask the oncologist to stop my Tamoxifen. It’s the only other thing I can think of and I told her I wanted to stop after my next scan anyway.

I suffer from severe IBS, and I don’t absorb potassium well for some reason. What you describes sounds like my symptoms. I went through a dozen doctors before being diagnosed. I’ve been able to control with a low FODMAP diet and supplements.

Before that though, I went through every test you can think of from bloodwork, to full cardiac and GI work up to CT scans. It’s frustrating to feel so badly and not know what is wrong. Sorry you are going through this and I will keep praying for u.

Thanks for the suggestion. What is FODMAP?

I have to ask about potassium and iron because that’s kind of what it feels a lack of.

I’ve officially had ulcerative colitis for some 12 years but generally I don’t have much trouble. My scope end of June was good...same as last 1 3 years ago.

FODMAPs are just chemicals present in certain foods which cause me inflammation and exacerbate IBS. For example F is Fructose, I don’t know all the other acronyms, I just follow a food list of ok to eat and avoid, here is a list:

https://www.ibsdiets.org/fodmap-diet/fodmap-food-list/

My gastroenterologist put me on this diet and it has allowed me normal digestion, with few issues if I stick to it. If I go off, I know within a day or two and it takes almost a week for the inflammation to go away. I have had to add some things to the avoid list, and I can eat a few things on the avoid list so it becomes personalized over time. Hope this helps!

Just to add, If the internist does bloodwork on you, I would ask them to check for mineral deficiencies like potassium and others too. My internist is great about looking at the big picture and diet. My scopes never showed anything wrong, but the inflammation and malabsorption doesn’t always show up on those tests or other scans

Talked to GI today. He doesn’t believe this is at all a GI issue really. Had scope late June that was perfect, and he said my ER CAT was not great because I had no drink contrast, and often the radiologists think it looks inflamed when it’s not.

I think he’s right, and besides, they did already check my K and Fe which was my concern. It’s all normal.

My question may be about lactic acid (that’s what it feels like is building up) and thyroid now for my internist.

I really start suspecting my cancer med now.
