I would have extended the essay a bit if I were him.
I think what he is trying to say is that the Left is claiming that the protesters are peaceful and that Trump is a dictator for trying to protect federal property.
The muddled-minded mushy middle of the road moderate voter is listening to this and agreeing with the Left.
People on the right are trying to argue that all that Trump is trying to do is protect federal property without pointing out that the protesters, if they were truly peaceful, could choose some other form and place of protesting and that they are making a violent statement merely by their choice of protest site in and of itself.
If would be bonus to point out some of the nasty scammers and other types who were found guilt of federal fraud crimes in that federal courthouse in the last year and to point out upcoming cases set to take place in that federal courthouse, cases that may be uncomfortable for local politicians.
I think all the author is saying is that people are not making the obvious obvious.
“I think all the author is saying is that people are not making the obvious obvious.”
And who are these “people” who are not making the obvious obvious?
Does he really believe that it is just a simple innocent oversight on the part of the “media” to not make the obvious obvious?
Is he really that naive?
