Rep. Richmond to Barr: Keep John Lewis' Name Out Of The Department of Justice's Mouth
RCP video ^ | 7-28-2020 | Ian Schwartz

Rep. Cedric Richmond (D-LA) scolded Attorney General William Barr ... in his opening statement.

"When you all came here and brought your top staff, you brought no Black people. That, sir, is systematic racism. That is exactly what John Lewis spent his life fighting,” Richmond said. "I would just suggest that actions speak louder than words and you really should keep the name of the Honorable John Lewis out of the Department of Justice’s mouth."

I want to highlight the whole statement, because Richmond is an top @ss donky grandstanding, and his statement is ridiculous. Both on the surface AND in essence.

Everything for Dems/Leftists is symbolic, you've gotta have the quota for colored people, the LGBTQ+, the deranged/unhinged, etc. etc. ===> You will not be allowed (if you don't meet the arbitrary standard or quota) to even mention John Lewis' name.

I can't find another over the top name to describe how ridiculous/preposterous this is.

Uh, say cedric, sit down and STFU. You ain’t the boss of AG Barr. Sort of like karen telling PDJT to not say anything about lewis passing. Obviously lewis didn’t learn a thing from MLK.

Please let’s not get in the way of these racist Democrat a-holes as they keep revealing their true nature to the American public.

Let’s make certain Rep. Richmond and those like him have only the highest quality microphones on hand to clearly capture every word they say.

Any blacks that walked in with Barr would have just been called Uncle Tom’s so what’s the point?

Would it be OK if I called John Lewis a race-baiting grifter?

They don’t seem to make the connection with crime and the population percentage of Blacks and of those in jail.

I suppose once the number incarcerated hits the quota then no more Black murderers or rapists or drug dealers can be jailed.

Somebody should investigate Rep. Richmond’s staff. If his staff is more than 13.4% black, then he is a racist. And if it is less than 13.4% black, then he is a racist.

Are we to presume the congressman’s office represents the ethnic population distribution of the United States?

I’d argue that is our greatest threat to the survival of our country. Persons in leadership roles without the right character, intelligence, knowledge and experience.

We can laugh at some of these fools (AOC, Waters, Jackson-Lee, Omar, etc) but they are in number and have power.

I don’t have the answer to how we fix this, but hope Trump’s example has inspired good people to step up.

Our Founding Fathers never in their wildest imaginations thought that responsible citizens would elect idiots to the Congress. So it must be safe to assume that the citizens that elected Cedric Richmond are irresponsible. If they aren’t, they should be grossly embarrassed by Cedric’s behavior.
