Depends on what you are looking for. If you want face/retinal recognition 5 years before Apple, maps and GPS that work 7 years before, hundreds of thousands of apps on an open platform and all at reasonable prices on a plethora of platforms, you might want Android.

If you want one company to dictate all your technology stack and nowhere to go if they choose something you don’t like (headphone jack anyone?), yeah Apple is your choice.
