He hasn’t and won’t dismiss him simply because he can’t! Can you imagine the hue and outcry from not only the Democrats but the Rino Republicans. No way should this be put on his shoulders at the time pre-election....no way!

Bring in great pro HCQ anti lockdown doctors like Zellenko into the Coronavirus task force. There are several of them at Stanford University.
That dilutes Faucis influence within the task force.
All press conference on coronavirus at the White House should feature these positive thinking doctors. No Fauci.
