Yep. But try telling that to people they’ve already brainwashed. You’re wasting your time.

You’re telling me. Nextdoor is overrun with Karens and Chads scolding and tattling on people for not wearing a mask at all times when our county’s order is that you should wear a mask in a public facility or if you’re confined in a small space like a bus. It clearly says that people exercising alone or with family members are not subject to the mask rule.

Not good enough for Karen though. She wants all subjects to be fettered.

Most mask designs are psychological stage props. Supposedly, a version much like a military-style gs mask would overcome many, but not all, of the shortcomings of more modest designs.

A more practical measure would be to wear a full face shield of transparent material, which still allows relatively free breathing, stops droplets of moisture in the air from blowing directly into the eyes, nose n mouth of the wearer, protects others from the fine spray of sneezed, coughs, or vocalizations by the wearer, while not negatively affecting the ability to breathe, and permits facial recognition. And still be relatively easy to be cleaned repeatedly.

The face shield may be a little clumsy, but still vastly better than a mask that is tied on, or looped around the ears. And once in place, it does not slip off.

This study covers wide-spread use in HOSPITALS! Imagine the uselessness of masks in the general public?

In this country, there remains a strong independent streak among people with the ability to read and reason.

And then, there are people like me: Happier to just go along with the crowd.... at least, for now.
