My cousin still lives in the Seattle area (Normandy Park) but is still in denial about the nature of the lawlessness that is occurring there. I can’t understand it. She still claims it was all just a “block party” with a few malcontent drug addicts going a little overboard.

Leftists and those who excuse them are malignancies on civil society. Leftists must be crushed.

There are many very comfortable neighborhoods in Seattle, far away from CHAZ land.

If the rioters had attacked those neighborhoods instead of one of the poorest sections of the city—your cousin would have understood.

I live in Seattle along the shoreline of Lake Washington about 2.5 miles from the CHAZ-CHOP ‘block party’.

I know Normandy Park from having two MD friends there. Nice place, residential treed area community.

Indeed Seattle has dozens of block parties among dozens and dozens of its neighborhoods every year. They are a great feature of the City with so many residents closing streets to traffic, throwing a street potluck, neighbors getting to know neighbors or reaffirming friendships from prior year’s block parties.

And the Capitol Hill neighborhood in central Seattle has always had numerous block parties where streets are closed to traffic, signs are posted and a festive atmosphere takes place, sometimes with a stage and live music.

But here’s the kicker:

Every block party in Seattle is required to have an approved PERMIT.

There was no permit for what these Marxist paramilitary ACTBLUE agitators did.

No permit, therefore no means possible for any group of residents or businesses to comment and communicate concerns.

There are two colleges within the Capitol Hill area of Seattle, thousands and thousands of college kids who are mostly immature and generally foolish. We all hope that time and experience cures the ignorance of such crowds of young people.

But the young fools of Capitol Hill in Seattle, mostly white, heard the virtue signaling name of BLM and wandered outside from the pandemic lockdown to attend an event as if it was a ‘rock concert ‘.

So the ‘Occupied Protest’ aka ‘Illegal Marxist Occupation’ aka ‘Illegal Block Party’ viewed as a makeshift rock concert attended by thousands of ignorant college students, became a liar’s plaything for any Marxist tool.

And it looks like they got to your cousin.
