I mentored a minority teen that wanted to get into the medical field so badly. To say that she came from a broken family was an understatement. I worked with her for over 5 years. She supposedly passed her GED. I do not know how, because she wasn’t capable of doing 4th-grade math. I worked and worked with her. I would give her homework only to have her come up with multiple excuses as to why she had not done it. I tried everything to motivate her. It got to the point that she would just admit that she was lazy and didn’t do it. I was working harder at trying to teach her than she was trying to learn.
All she wanted to do was sleep. She is now homeless with her homeless mother. I pray for her, but you can’t help someone that refuses to learn. She is young, beautiful and living on the streets somewhere in California.

You are a wonderful person. Thank you!
Yep. Money and government programs solve nothing by themselves. Love and individual care is what is needed. Known for thousands of years but it seems evil would have us believe otherwise. God bless!
Ha!
That sounds more like what BLM really is!
PBL from BLM. Protecting Black Lives from Black Lives Matter.
