Most of my relatives are absolutely panicking now. This disease is SPIKING. It’s SPIKING I tell you! So many cases! We’ve never seen so many cases! It’s sweeping the nation!
I stopped talking politics with relatives about 20 years ago. Permissible conversational topics keep shrinking. I’m pretty much down to: “Nice weather we’ve been having lately, eh?”
Nice try, but “No Go There.”
“Warm weather today” = OMG We're gonna die! (Because Climate Change is Trump's fault.)
“A bit cool today.” = OMG We're gonna die! (Because Climate Change is Trump's fault.)
That’s all we hear too.....spiking. A friend that lives/works in Vegas said he expects everything to shut down again. One by one the casinos are all closing. Talked to my doctor the other day because I had a sinus infection and he said people are stacked outside his doors to get tested...whether they’re sick or not. They’re scaring people again.
