In both law and accounting, paid internships for the summer are very commonly referred to as a "job". They are extremely important in terms of being hired permanently by that firm. So I don't think it's quite fair to accuse her of lying about this "job", because that's part of the normal vernacular in that industry.
That being being said, having this very important opportunity cancelled couldn't have happened to a more deserving leftist hag.
