Visited there twice in the mid ‘90s. Franklin, just south on I-65, was great to just to stroll through and see antique stores and I believe that there is a Civil War battlefield historic site there as well.

The Battle of Franklin was a Abolitionist defeat but they gutted the Rebel army of John Hood.
