Before the coverage of the Trump campaign rally, CSPAN treated its viewers to a lecture on racism and reparations from some unknown academic from Oklahoma University's African Studies Department. Oh, yes, the site of the rally is controversial too because there was a violent race riot in Tulsa 99 years ago which is Trump's fault.
Fox has blocked the rally for the last 2 hours. Anything but the rally. YouTube muted its coverage so you can’t hear what is being said.
I’m watching on PBS. My tax dollars helped pay for that feed.
I just turned to C-SPAN and its 8:00 there and the auditorium looks empty where is everybody??!

They just stated there are 15,000 people in the arena which holds 19,000 and that there is a large protest presence blocking many people trying to reach the arena. The report is they are not being violent at this time but, they are clogging up the avenue leading to the arena.

Remember people, This is a democrat PsyOp. They’re trying to bait trump into a kinetic action that they can use against him. They’re trying to generate a ‘kent state’ incident that they can springboard from.
President Trump is wise to not take the bait. Let the democrats perform their political theatre and destroy their own cities. Trump offers assistance but they refuse to ask for it, and they refuse to do anything about it themselves.

I remember in 1990. C Span ran a muddy, garbled, and deliberately sped up version of a Jesse Helms rally that was followed by a full color, live, Hollywood style rally for Democrat Harvey Gantt with perfect quality.
People called in to complain the following Monday and Brian Lamb claimed not to know anything about it. They have been a bogus outfit since the first Bush administration. They were good in the Reagan years.

That Tulsa riot has become mythologized. It really happened but so much has been distorted. “thousands killed” “air force bombardment” “black wall street”.
The guy the crowd wanted to lynch was not harmed, the local police saw to it that did not happen. In part because there had been a lynching of a prisoner the previous week or month (and the prisoner was white). And the charges against the guy were eventually dropped.
As to “black wall street”, I don’t think there was a singular case of such well to do black districts. I think numerous cities had them (by that I mean that Tulsa’s district was not an isolated example of a wealthy area of black commerce).
