Nice!
I think it's more about giving Barr the finger.
Berman didn't like the way Barr handled it since Barr doesn't really have the authority to fire him, and he also wanted to keep his people in the post.
I don't know that anyone had a problem with Clayton, He just got caught in the middle and once Lindsey said he would honor blue slips Barr figured he wouldn't be able to get Clayton confirmed anyway.
And STOP HIS PENSION and NEW JOB!!! ONCE someone says I’m not leaving, they should NVER be allowed another TAX PAYER FUNDED JOB! OR PENSION!
BTW....Berman got his know-it-all butt FIRED today. It crossed my mind that he saw that judge in DC refusing to drop charges against Gen. Flynn, and seeming to be getting away with it, so he thought he’d try it. WRONG! In all fairness and honesty, the DC judge should get his comeuppance, too. But he’s black, so need I say more? That’s just the facts, dear hearts.
OK, $50 it is.
Done deal, beside FR can use the cash no matter it comes from.
Really? What other games are "in town"?

Ahem!
Read the following words VERY carefully, consider what you already know, and THINK.
If you do it right, you can answer your own question. I will not think for you, soya.
CIA Director _early 2017 - April 2018?
External Advisory Board (CIA) members during this time?
Was Bill Barr a member of the board?
What advantages might exist to incoming AG Barr re: member of external advisory board (CIA)?
What advantages might exist to Sec of State re: former Dir of CIA?
It must be right.
It must be according to the law.
It must be proven.
It's what you don't see.
Durham is not the only game in town.
Hint: Durham is not the only one fixin' to take down the derps.
How is it emptying the swamp when Trump is responsible for putting the creature there in the first place? Is this not yet ANOTHER instance of bad hiring practices? Is the guy getting too close or did Trump just do a bad job at choosing to begin with?
A superior gung fu style.
I thought he said he was appointed by the judges. Still Trump should have gotten rid of him sooner.
Total derp.
I am willing to bet you will lose that bet.
Berman is gone, being a man of my word, I just sent $50 to FR with a request to credit USS Alaska for the donation.
Can’t win ‘em all.
Nobody wins them all.
I wss watching the Trump rally so I was not aware of the latest developments.
You didn’t have to donate even though it’s for a good cause.
At the end of the day everyone wants the best for their country. The only disagreement is what the best is.
Say how did the I won’t resign temper tantrum work out for good ole Preet Bharara (the chap who was sacked before the current guy)?
He pulled exactly the same stunt by refusing to resign when invited to resign didn’t he?
Result? He was promptly fired.
It’s over dude.
Only after the GOP Chairman of the Senate Judiciary committee humiliated a GOP POTUS by rejecting his SDNY nominee out of hand. The coupist goal obviously was to prevent Trump from getting his pick and that has been achieved. There is no evidence Barr’s pick is any better than the guy leaving. Given the glowing praise heaped on her by Berman I wouldn’t expect much there.
