Welcomed swamp cleaning, but can Berman be fired?

From wiki:

On June 19, 2020, Attorney General William Barr announced that Berman would step down from his post on July 3, with New Jersey U.S. Attorney Craig Carpenito serving as interim while the Senate considered Jay Clayton, the chairman of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, as his replacement.[5][6] Hours later, Berman stated that he had not resigned, and did not intend to resign, until “a presidentially appointed nominee is confirmed by the Senate.”[7] As Berman was appointed by the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York under 28 U.S.C. § 546(d) and is hence a judicially appointed acting official, it is unclear whether the Attorney General can remove Berman as U.S. Attorney without a Senate-confirmed successor.[8][9][10][11][12] When Trump and Barr sought to oust Berman, he was reportedly investigating Rudy Giuliani, a Trump associate.

Take away his security key card, confiscate his computer and disallow him from returning to his office... He’ll get the message.

Wikipedia propaganda much?
All executive power is vested in the President.
He can fire whoever he wants irrespective of how that person was appointed.
Bill Clinton fired all 93 US AG'S when he took over. No reason given. Obama did the same thing.

The method of appointment does not affect the right of a President to fire anyone whose position is one that serves at the pleasure of the President.

SDNY was the group that coordinates with the N.Y. Attorney Office that brought up an average of one new lawsuit against Trump every three working days for his first two years in office, weren’t they?

That’s what’s odd, Berman was picked to replace the deep state former AG Bharara and was a part of the Trump camp until last night. He was handpicked to replace Bharara due to his loyalty as a former law partner of Rudy Giuliani and a campaign donor to Trump’s 2016 campaign. Berman served on Trump’s presidential transition team and Trump personally interviewed Berman before agreeing to nominate him to the New York position. The head of that office has jurisdiction over Trump’s literal home turf, it’s a big deal... it’s just not clear what is going on.

Now they say Berman’s office was investigating Giuliani.. weird stuff..

I believe the way it works is the President has the power to fire a US Attorney, but Barr actually doesn’t officially have that power by law (the appointments are made by POTUS with Senate approval)
