When they came for the Confederate statues we Southerners knew that was a bridge too far.........but many of you here agreed with it
‘They’’ were just testing to see what they could get away with.....
....and they got away with it.
Now it’s game on for any perceived grievance .......Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, Columbus, etc
It’s also game on towards you.....and me......and our children.....and our grandparents....
Any of us who speak out will be rolled over!
But we have to do it!

Your post is the finest I’ve read in months. Tears sprang to my eyes and are rolling down my face even now. My heart tells me “fear is useless”. May we all remember and profit from the past. I am of Jewish decent, only recently discovered. Never forget. In some way, we are all Jews. Without history we become slaves to a future no one wants.
