I’ve said from day 1 we shouldn’t trade with polluting slave states.
Since we started trading with communist China, manufacturing has been a race to the bottom where only slaves dumping toxic waste can compete.
Years ago I had the motor mounts on the 64 replaced with new ones from China. Didn’t last 2 years. 3 years ago when I had the transmission rebuilt they put new motor and transmission mounts in from Thailand. So far they’re holding up just fine. Anyone who restores old cars tries to avoid Chinese made crap. If Amrican made parts aren’t available the stuff from Thailand or India is much better quality than than from China.
