I can’t wait until we have “pick and choose” cable/satellite. Every sports channel, especially ESPN, will be the first thing that we’ll be dumping.

I dumped my Direct TV over 3 years ago now....

One of the best things I've done.

It is already happening in many ways for people who have high-speed internet. My wife and I “cut the cord” two years ago, but the big streaming providers like Sling, ATT, YouTube TV, and others still bundle, but it is getting a little more à la carte all of the time.

They will not go to “pick and choose” unless they are forced to.

The content providers are calling the shots.

The only way to make cable companies go to “pick and choose” is to cut your cable tv and tell them you will be back when they offer “pick and choose”.

We are more powerful than the content providers but only if we fight with our dollars.

Just stop with the cable TV. Say no thanks and cancel your service. Over three years without TV here and it is one of the best decisions we’ve made.
