He was not running away when shot?
That’s what the article says.
I refuse to look at any more videos of anything. My givvash!tometer is on zero.
How does that justify pulling the trigger when the guy is running away?
The video shows the guy turning and pointing the taser at the police officer.
If you can get it read the bppk “War on Cops” It goes into great detail about how the Obama administration imposed myriad civil rights reviews of every contact between cops and minorities. LA and NYC have to analyze every contact and it gets reviewed by an arm of DOJ. Also in place in other major cities too.
In effect we already have in place all the safeguards for minority civil rights the talking heads are recommending.
Of course minority means black. Even hispanics are minor players in this conflict. Orientals and Asian Indians are less problem even than whites. That statement is also considered racist now. One can’t talk about black crime as a causative factor.
Re: defunding Austin police...
Will they reduce city property taxes accordingly?
Hey jackass, the guy was stole the cops taser and was aiming it right at him, about to disable him
“”Brooks, Brosnan and Rolfe all on the floor, before a taser is fired at Rolfe. Three gunshots are then heard while the three are off camera.
Rolfes death sparked protests in Atlanta on Saturday night, leading to the Wendys where Rolfe was shot being set alight.””
CLEAN UP ON AISLE whatever! I thought Brooks was shot and died! Didn’t you proofread what you wrote?
The cop got shot and died? News to me and I watched hours of the coverage on Atlanta’s stations into the early morning hours! I still haven’t seen any video of the cop shooting the guy - I see him turning around facing two cops with something (laser) in his hand and that’s it.
I can’t get through the rest of it with such obvious errors in the beginning of the thread. Always amazes me that anyone will refer to the “ground” as the “floor.”
Here’s the initial vid. taken and posted by the white car in the Wendy’s surveillance vid.

Here’s the body cam footage of the initial contact by the second officer to the resisting arrest. Sad to watch knowing the outcome.

Here’s the Wendy’s footage at about 23:22 showing pursuit by officers.

true ... but I was talking more above female police chiefs, mayors, business executives, etc.
I watched the entire raw video up to the shooting aftermath. They patted him down, no weapons. For thirty minutes this guy was calm, respectful and addressing the police with yes sir, no sir. He was cooperative, and frankly was far from falling down drunk. He obeyed every order and was not combative. Before the shooting the police questioned him for thirty minutes and Brooks asked several times if he could just walk back to his hotel room. Somewhere In those thirty minutes the cops could have said, we will take you back to your room, or you can have someone pick you up. It would have been over without harm. What made him flip out is a mystery, he turned on a dime.
Thank you.
Never leave your phone at home when you go out just in case you need to stop and take some pictures of an event that will make the news. Unbelievable!
Very interesting....Guy really was out of it but he was respectful to the cop and the cop was respectful to him. If he hadn’t been under the influence and been able to answer the cop’s questions, none of that would have happened. Really sad. He sure liked to talk...
Sure, like they say, "You get what you subsidize".. If we send signals that a certain behavior, no matter how offensive it may be, is acceptable, then it becomes the new normal.. Everybody does it.. Like, for example, wearing your pants down below your ass.... :(
Excellent observation.. Liberalism kills..
