More accurately, the committee controlling Biden is not crazy enough to appoint Abrams. Exactly. And I think Warren is on the list as a red herring. I'll be very surprised if she's picked. The DNC apparatchiks who are telling Biden who his pick will be want someone they can firmly control, as that person is guaranteed to be 47 very soon after the inauguration, if Biden becomes 46.
