It never ceases to amaze me how university administrators think they can differentiate standardization (by doing the minimum that accreditors require and calling it “excellence), and then charge a premium for the same product everyone else is offering.

note for young people....and also not so young...but there are also cheap, high quality, accredited, self-paced options out there which allow you to get the academic learning even while you are real world working.
there’s LOTS of options these days. glad to discuss with anyone :)

Unless the student has a track record of finishing what they start, college is a bad investment. Students need to be able to do college level work. My wife and daughter are both high school teachers. Very few of their students have the work ethic and study skills to do well. College is a very expensive place to “find yourself.” The statistics for completion of a four year program on time are abysmally low. A student can accumulate a lot of debt and not earn a degree.
