Any person who sends their children to public school commits child abuse. And I do not believe the tired excuse that people can not afford private school or home schooling. Most have not tried or taken time to look into the possibility.

Truth is truth, wherever found.
Your Leftist friends would be appalled that you read FR.
Every citizen and business should have complete control over where their education taxes are spent.
That’s why they are doing it. A clever tactic, but when it backfires it will leave innocent African Americans holding the bag.
Anytime you get stuff like this, send a response and ask them a couple questions. See if they even have a response to them.
- How many races are there?
- What are those races?
- What delineates the differences between those races?
- Is that delineation a testable, fact-based split (based on genetics or bone structure or etc), or something more along the feelings lines?
- What about “XXXXX” being or not being a ‘race’? (ie 3 main scientific ones: Caucasoids, Mongoloids, and Negroids; the six US census races? More races? How do other countries separate ‘race’ for census/gov purposes? Why in/exclude some but not others?)
If they can’t even begin to give clear answers on what, exactly, constitutes different races, how can they even start to try to come up with considering something ‘racist’ or not?
This ping list is for the other articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)
The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.
If you’ve still got kids in the public school system at this point, there may be no hope for you.
Ok Karp, lots of thoughts running through my mind not the least of which are two related to you. Late comer to the fray and no “about page”. That said I appreciate your efforts to bring this crap into the light of day.
It’s all so complicated and difficult to understand. At least according to school personnel who in my opinion have a great deal of difficulty with truth and reality. The idea of systemic racism, and all associated with the idea is not in any way related to truth.
These folks just have a need to be involved in what will destroy the America of the founders, and be a part of the cabal that will be the birth of Amerika as a communist global tribe of elites in the middle of all things tripping the Progressive trigger.
An example might be the idea that racism is complex and complicated. That in their minds it even has a place is what I find complex and complicated. Their business is education. Readin writin and arithmaticin. That’s all pretty simple, or used to be until the education folks branched out into the fields of indoctrination, propaganda, and child abuse, leaving so called “education” in the dust.
Been to a board meeting lately. In our area they are designed and conducted to make the plebes feel shame for even questioning the duly elected board.
That said, a quest for a 250 MILLION dollar budget increase via a school bond was put on the ballot by referendum and failed 60/40. Had it passed, followed almost immediately by Corona, I can only imagine how we the taxpayers would have struggled to meet that pile of manure facing the present circumstances. Speaking of dodging bullets.
It was such a good article until I got to this part: “This is the lesson we should all have learned from the days of Senator Joseph McCarthy. Because of his false and irresponsible charges of communism against liberals, socialists, and others among his critics, many communists and agents of communist influence sought to pass themselves off as Jeffersonian democrats or merely idealistic tenured radicals reformers.”
I was unable to determine if he had a clue. I reread that quote four or five times and still was left not knowing if the author knew that the good Senator had been vindicated.
In our area they are designed and conducted to make the plebes feel shame for even questioning the duly elected board.
So vote them out.

I noticed that, and my initial reaction was the same as yours. However, Sidney Hook (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sidney_Hook) was a highly intelligent, staunch anti-communist who thought McCarthy did more harm than good. He knew MUCH more about the subject than I will ever know. The quote is not critical to the article, so I let it slide.
There are a few Sidney Hook videos on YouTube.
