New Surveillance Video Shows George Floyd Moments Before He Died – It Looks Like He Is Not Resisting

Yesterday a video surfaced from George Floyd as he was pinned down by a cop and later died.

It happened Monday night, when cops were responding to a “forgery in progress.” Police arrived and saw the suspect sitting in a car. According to the Department, the man resisted arrest so he was placed in handcuffs, adding “he appeared to be suffering medical distress.”

This has caused tensions around the country and things are not looking good.

The Minneapolis Police Department first requested an independent investigation by the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, and later contacted the FBI as well after the force received additional information that indicated the incident “could be a question of civil rights,” Police Chief Medaria Arradondo said Tuesday.

Floyd’s family has reportedly retained the services of Benjamin Crump, a well-known civil rights attorney who previously represented the family of Michael Brown, a black teenager whose 2014 killing by a police officer in Ferguson, Missouri, helped propel the Black Lives Matter movement into national prominence.

Arradondo announced that four officers involved in the incident had been fired Tuesday afternoon, which Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey said was “the right call.”

But a new video from a surveillance camera has surfaced and it might cause more tensions.

A nearby restaurant, Dragon Wok, captured the initial moments of George’s run-in with Minneapolis police on a camera set up outside. Based on the video, this started as a traffic stop of some sort, which ended with George being led away in cuffs.

The video shows 2 vehicles parked curbside, and eventually, 2 officers approach one of the cars and ask everyone to step out. A man and a woman emerge from the passenger side, while George is taken out by another officer on the driver’s side … seemingly struggling at first.

The cops get George to stand up and lead him over to the sidewalk where they sit him down. He isn’t doing a whole lot of resisting the rest of the way.

Two of the cops fired over the arrest of black man George Floyd have already been investigated for their roles in previous use-of-force incidents, it’s been revealed.

Derek Chauvin, 44, the officer filmed kneeling on Floyd’s neck during his arrest, is a 19-year veteran of the force who was investigated over a fatal police shooting in 2006.

Chauvin was investigated for his role in the 2008 shooting of Ira Latrell Toles during a domestic assault call. Toles was wounded after police said he went for an officer’s gun and Chauvin shot him.

Two years earlier Wayne Reyes, 42 was killed by officers after allegedly pulling a shotgun on the six cops, which included Chauvin, The Star Tribune reports.

A second officer involved in Monday’s arrest, Tou Thao, is said to been part of a $25,000 out of court settlement after being sued for using excessive force in 2017.

In a lawsuit obtained by the DailyMail.com shows Thao was sued for using excessive force in an arrest where he was accused of punching and kicking a handcuffed suspect ‘until his teeth broke’. In any case, there is no need for people to spark racial tension as an Asian-American was also involved in the case. this is just police brutality and it’s something that needs to concern all of us no matter the race!

Find one police protocol that shows the use of a knee on a neck. Find one.

The moron ALSO would still be alive if the thug with a badge hadn't kneeled on his neck for the better part of 10 minutes.

I believe I heard the cop say in response to someone saying put him in the car
that they had tried for ‘10 minutes’ to put him in the car.

You don’t need a freaking autopsy to have common sense and see what happened.

This prick is going to prison for the rest of his life.

And he deserves every hour of it.

I have several LEOs in my family and they are disgusted at this loser. He makes it so much harder for the 99% good cops out there.

ANOTHER video, showing him calmly talking to the cops, composed, and all that.

Another video.

No altercation, he’s calmly speaking to the police while cuffed.

Funny how the bootlicking thugs and race baiting trolls masturbate over “wait for more evidence” and then when it comes in and proves they were wrong, they never admit it.

Did you read the article you used ?

“ “As soon as you hear somebody can’t breathe, you need to ask for medical attention, change your positioning change to see what’s going on,” Masson said.

Masson said MPD also does not typically teach the “knee on neck” technique and instead teaches “knee into shoulder blades” as a restraint tactic.”

For a troll to work, it must be at least plausibly close to the truth.

This is why you’re not getting any reaction from me to your latest attempts at trolling.

Because someone handcuffed can still ring your bell, break your jaw and basically ruin your day.

Because someone is able to injure you, you should put them on the ground and kneel on their neck. You are saying that the policeman feared for his life from the guy in handcuffs, and needed to restrain him permanently.

I got two friends - both retired LEO's - and they too are outraged. I think they would love to have a minute alone with this guy in a cage because it is guys like this that made their job awful for so many years.

This guy - and his accomplices - are murders. All these Freepers who can't see this for what it is? Well - that says all I need to know about them.

Yep, it happens all the time.

You are saying that the policeman feared for his life from the guy in handcuffs, and needed to restrain him permanently.

No, that's not what I said. Get it right.

It appears the original suspected forgery in progress was due to a shop suspecting Floyd was passing a counterfeit $20 bill. In that case it’s not unreasonable to think Floyd could have been oblivious to the fact the bill might be fake, and honestly indignant/confused as to him being cuffed.

There are many terrible criminals who pull the race card to get out of jail free, but you’d have to be reaching to see it in this one. We’re not only potentially looking at a murder, but also a murder of a completely innocent civilian in Floyd if he did not knows his $20 bill was bad.

Maybe you don’t need an autopsy. Maybe the cop killed him. But maybe he didn’t. Nobody KNOWS at this point. People SUSPECT.

But some things don’t add up with that story. Both cops knew they were being video-ed. Maybe Chauvin was calm because he knew, or thought, he wasn’t doing anything fatal to the perp. Same with the Asian cop. They had already called an ambulance, so they knew he had something wrong. We didn’t see a video of the struggle. Do you really think the cops put the perp on the ground in front of multiple witnesses just because? And then choked him to death right there on camera???

That story may be true, but I doubt it. It does not seem sensible to me. But an autopsy will probably shed some light. Floyd may have died of COVID19 for all we know.

As for me personally, I don’t care. If Floyd resisted arrest, then to heck with him. I could care less about him if that was true.

You’ve got a lot to say for someone who “could care less” (sic).

You being dumb is excusable. Being evil is not.
