According to Prof Walter Ricciardi, scientific adviser to Italy’s minister of health, the country’s mortality rate is far higher due to demographics – the nation has the second oldest population worldwide – and the manner in which hospitals record deaths.
But Prof Ricciardi added that Italy’s death rate may also appear high because of how doctors record fatalities.
“The way in which we code deaths in our country is very generous in the sense that all the people who die in hospitals with the coronavirus are deemed to be dying of the coronavirus.
“On re-evaluation by the National Institute of Health, only 12 percent of death certificates have shown a direct causality from coronavirus, while 88 percent of patients who have died have at least one pre-morbidity – many had two or three,” he says.
Other experts have also expressed skepticism about the available data. Martin McKee, professor of European public health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, says that countries do not yet have a good indication of how many mild infections they have.
An Italian politician went one step further.
A member of the Italian Chamber of Deputies has hit out at the country’s leadership for its response to the Covid-19 claiming that the death toll has been greatly exaggerated and that the pandemic is being used to “establish a dictatorship”.
Vittorio Sgarbi who is a member of the Forza Italia party slammed the closure of 60% of Italian businesses for 25,000 Chinese-Coronavirus deaths from the floor of the legislature.
In his fiery speech to the Italian Chamber of Deputies, Vittorio Sgarbi, claimed that 25,000 people did not die in Italy from Covid-19 and that according to the country’s Higher Institute of Health 96.3% of those whose deaths were put down to Coronavirus actually died from other diseases.
Deputy Sgarbi also implored the government not to use the deaths from Covid-19 for “rhetoric and terrorism”.
He compared Italy to Germany and said that Italy had “once again been humiliated by Germany even in illness”. Germany had one of the laxest responses to the Covid-19 pandemic of all major European powers and has proportionately had very few deaths relative to other countries.
In other parts of the world including the United States, politicians have been accused of using the Coronavirus to seize greater powers and impose and Orwellian control grid on the public.

Typical flubro garbage. When you reference a “study”, why not provide a link to the study? Ah yes, because there is no such study, or it doesn’t say what you claim it says.
Medicare pays more for a Wuhan Bat Coronavirus diagnosis than it does for an ordinary influenza diagnosis. This encourages physicians to categorize patients as having the WBC instead of ordinary flu. Follow the money.

This, while you re-count the bodies for the umpteenth time, looking for a different answer. There is some kind of psychology at work, here, that I would love to understand.
I don’t think that there is any way that reality can be as complicated as you are trying to make it. China instigated this. Their position is well known and they have been stealing such capabilities for decades. The virus is real. It is NOT “Captain Trips”, but it is real. China did this, and perhaps with the knowledge and support of others.
We need a sane and rational response.

The way this whole thing developed starting with the Italian fashion industry areas controlled by the Chinese commies hit by a runaway CCWV (Chinese Communist Wuhan Virus) breakout occurred in Wuhan the politburo closed off Wuhan but did not warn the Italian Socialist government or the Pope with whom the Chinese government had good relations with.
But certainly violated that understanding when the socialists should have been informed and allowed to deny those Chinese workers who replaced Italians in those factories taken over by the Chinese travel to and from China particularly for their New Year while this was occurring.Where they seem to have done almost the same here with Smithfield Pork processing after the Chinese were hit with swine flu which destroyed their pork industry by their takeover of Smithfield Pork processing. When learning of the Wuhan shutdown Trump cut off China air travel with the exception of only allowing American citizens returning..But was immediately attacked by CNN and the alphabet media outlets as a racist Republican action.
He was so passionate about the faked death numbers that I thought he was going to have a heart attack. I commend him for speaking out!!
