Anyway, Anand Giridharadas is U.S. born and he’s kind of a mixed bag; since he was raised here it might be interesting to ask him to flesh out his definition of `freedom obsessed’. Strange, since even his sympathetic portrait of modernized India acknowledges that it is still a caste-based society.
Might be no different than Bill Clinton’s cornpone collectivism as noted here. Would like to know his views on gun control.
