The liberal media has gone to bat for fellow liberal and Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates against “conspiracy” theories regarding the coronavirus that started in Wuhan, China. But recent comments from Gates on CNN's Fareed Zakaria GPS shilling for the Chinese government may have just made that mission to insulate the billionaire a bit harder. In his questioning of Gates, CNN Host Fareed Zakaria said: “You've been making this case for international cooperation very powerfully and in my mind persuasively. There is right now in Washington a very different mood, which is to say far from cooperating with the second largest economy in the world. It is China that is to blame for this virus.”
Zakaria asked Gates what his response was to “the charge that —look—the Chinese covered this up" and that "they essentially deceived the rest of the world." Gates said of the charge against China: “That's a distraction. I think there’s a lot of, you know, incorrect and unfair things said."

Ironically, China is doing this right now.
I recall reading about some plan China has to use only Chinese semiconductors and Chinese software by 2025 I think it was. They already have a (poorly made) x86 compatible processor based on AMD hardware and are cranking out all sorts of OpenRISC-V solutions.
Running on top of those processors is their own flavor of Linux so that they can wean the country off of Windows.
I cannot believe US citizens will sell their souls to a Communist regime so that they can get access to Chinese markets, use their slave labor, and/or start pandemics so that scumbags like Bill Gates can attempt to immunize everyone and implant them with microchips.
Another loser billionaire who wants more. He will go to his grave wanting more and billions will never fill the true inner void.

Dear Mr. Gates. I’m very happy for you that you’ve been so successful and have such incredible wealth. Please do not forget how much serendipity was involved in that success, and how huge a part living in a free nation like America played in you living the life you live. China is not the same as the free America you grew up in, went to university in, and have achieved so much in. Please remember the difference.
