When God was in every school, there were no school shootings.

And 99.9 kids graduated.

In Rochester NY, the rate is about 50%....and that's UP from a year ago.

“When God was in every school, there were no school shootings.”

Don’t say that. He’ll blame “the thing” at the first shooting.....anywhere. They always need a scapegoat and “the thing” has been used before.

Actually, school shootings in the US have been going on for a long time. The first one I could find was July 26, 1764 when a group of Lenape Native Americans entered a schoolhouse in Greencastle, Pennsylvania, shot and scalped schoolmaster Enoch Brown, and killed nine or ten children. Two children survived.

But the one that I have to roll my eyes over is the one that happened in November 2, 1853 in Louisville, Kentucky when student Mathews Flounoy Ward shot the schoolmaster William H.G. Butler as revenge for what Ward thought was excessive punishment of his brother the day before. Butler died, and Ward was acquitted. Justice, and opinions, were different in those days.
