Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, a name frequently floated as a potential running mate for presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden, has extended her stay-at-home order in response to the coronavirus pandemic to include a ban on individuals traveling between two residences.
Starting Saturday, Michigan residents will no longer be permitted to visit friends or relatives or their second homes or vacation rentals inside the state, with few exceptions such as caring for a relative, an elderly friend or pet, visiting a nursing home, attending a funeral with no more than 10 people, or complying with a court order related to child custody, the Detroit Free Press reported.
Whitmer is earning the reputation through the pandemic, as one of the worst governors for restrictions on civil liberties, without sense behind some of the actions.
Whitmer gives new meaning to control and Orwellian regulations.
She prohibited big-box retailers from in-person sale of seeds because according to her, food is non-essential.

This morning we saw a news segment of how Big Brother is monitoring everyone via their cell phones to identify who is not complying with the SIP rules. Very creepy. As I understand it, they identify where the phone starts its day in the morning, and then where it goes during the day — whether they stray from the morning location.
Nothing was mentioned about whether or not Location had to be turned on or off, but probably it doesn’t matter. I’ve seen videos showing that Google can track with Location turned off.
Marijuana smoking puts you into a co-morbidity class. Surprised the shops are allowed open—especially now!
