I used to work at an Asian company. About 75% of the company were Chinese, Filipino, or Indian, with 25% American. I noticed that all of the foreign born women were in stable marriages, and all of the American women have been divorced, or never married.

And the statistics bear it out - something like 98% for Indian, not sure of the rest, but still very high for Chinese.
So, as I tell people, no one intends to enter into a marriage that will fail - so then it becomes a crapshoot once you do get married. And if the odds of a successful marriage are 50% via American, or 90% via foreigner (or at least foreign-born), it doesn’t take much math to figure out which is the option. And that’s what I told my boys, and so far, it’s working out great for them.
