nope, wrong no democracy in america. we have a constitutional republic, or a republican form of governance. The president is a great capitalist. and a wonderful speaker.

Herd immunity is coming. The only question is how long it will take. It will take a lot of deaths to get there.

I don’t believe this the country is ready for the fastest solution: purposely infecting the youngest among us and working your way up by age until you reach your herd immunity goal.

I wouldn’t want to be Trump right now.

I believe that getting herd immunity as quickly as possible is the best path for nations which wish to survive Coronavirus and prosper.

I believe this author is correct.

The shelter in place orders seem to have helped to prevent the health care system from overload breakdown. The irony there is you really cannot prove it. It's just "anecdotal". But it is common sense. The best way to avoid the flu is to avoid people with the flu.

So how do you develop herd immunity in the most humane manner? When you know people will get sick and die? It seems to me that, at this moment in time, the answer lies in the HQC regimen (Chloroquine, azythromycin, zinc/copper). If not as prophylaxis, then immediately upon diagnoses and/or symptoms. Give the body a chance to build immunity. We can continue to study the drug and regimens along the way. The attempt to lock people down for months on end is probably much more dangerous over the long term, since people who did not get exposed to the virus risk exposure when the lockdown ends (or when they've had enough of it and just ignore public officials). That will bring about a prolonged cycle of disease, that Fauci calls "seasonality". Better for the healthcare system but not necessarily for the people.

Perhaps on the other side of this, the people will start to rethink the way we have allowed ourselves to be governed by bureaucrats and people with authoritarian bents/control freaks.

The US is not a democracy

I fundamentally trust Trump’s instincts

He lives America and Americans

He hates big govt nonsolutions

That said it is time for America to get back to work. Open it all up. Let each person evaluate their own risk

I think he’s doing a great job - especially with how careful they were to insure maximum panic as he started engaging...he has used federal horsepower to obtain/distribute supplies and to push some of the companies who care less about America than their own personal bank accounts - and he mentions the Constitution often when asked why he doesn’t force certain actions among the States ...
