[The Democrats] are conceding the 2020 because of him, and are going to spend 4 years destroying everyone else that can possibly run against them in 2024.

It’s traditional that a sitting VP, as political heir of the sitting POTUS, tends to get the nomination of his party at the end of their second term. And lose - unless the sitting POTUS is Andrew Jackson or Ronald Reagan.

Or, perhaps, Donald Trump.

Mr Biden will not be the nominee. But it won’t be because he’s lost his mind. They will have other reasons.

Be awful if he caught COVID-19 . . .

He hasn’t been up to the task since 1977!

Winning presidential candidates tend to shoot up quickly. They attain national office within a dozen years or so of attaining statewide office.

And they usually have executive experience. The only example of a senator defeating a governor for an open presidential seat was Warren G. Harding - in the 1920 Republican wave election following WWI.

VP is not an executive position, it more like being a prince - heir to the “throne,” albeit only during the sitting president’s term. But quite frequently heir to his party’s presidential nomination.

Biden’s credentials for a presidential run are very thin. And he’s looking like a stumblebum, to boot.

I have a hard time thinking the Democrats will actually nominate him for POTUS; I can’t imagine voluntarily setting myself up for such a cringeworthy experience. Just his acceptance speech alone might utterly sink the party’s chances in November.

Further, [Cuomo] presides over the state that has the worst record with regard to the Wuhan virus, not a sterling qualification under the circumstances. So it is hard to see that boomlet going anywhere.

Maybe they’ll nominate Dr. Fauci . . .

WE all know Hinderaker has to be silenced because we all know every time anyone says Trump will win millions of his supporters decide to stay home because they don’t have to vote.

The point about Dinobernie is dead on. He will be a strong second. They CANNOT deny him the nomination if Biteme “resigns” or more than half Dinobernie’s fans would walk.

Agree. But with the situation he is in, being in charge of so much during C-19, the libs are going to go after him possibly more than Trump. His press, lies or not, are going to make it hard for him to get the vote. He’s a good man, but with lib media, that doesn’t make any difference.

I think if they open up on him, the only reason they will go after Trump is to bleed Pence.
