Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery, right? Guess this all depends on where you're at and what you have to work with. In this case, this homemade pistol is quite a blasphemy to many Glock enthusiasts. But, for some a thing of beauty. Take a look at these pics, the homemade Glock that is nothing short of dismal. These photos were shared on an all-Russian forum. Somewhere in Russia, one basement tinkerer (aspiring gunsmith) is very proud of his creation.
From a distance it resembles a beat up Glock that just got runned over by a truck. Notice no Glock Safety Trigger. See the rest of diy glock here.

As a machinist who’s worked in a gun shop making pistols I gotta’ give the guy some credit here. I’d like to know what all he had in his shop for machine tools.

I've done that.
Stopped on the side of a 2 track at the hunt club to "tend to some pressin' bidness" on Uncle Boogers Bumper Dumper. Set my old Glock on the bumper as usual. Was kinda inna hurry as it was steady raining. Anyways, after the paperwork was done I jumped in the truck and ran off to my spot. Didn't realize the Glock wasn't with me till I was a few hundred yards away. Drove back-n-forth (I know, sorry azz) and didn't see it. Got out and walked and stepped on it in the first mudhole. I'd run over it at least twice.
Field stripped it, rinsed it out in the muddy water to get the big chunks and then with water from a jug to clean.
Reassembled and popped of 3 quick ones. GTG.
..It ain't pretty and feels like a 2x4 in my hand. But it's balls on dependable. YMMV d:^)

He used to post graphic images of gunshot wounds under the category 'humor'.
As you see, he only posts from his blog and never responds. Maybe he's collecting data on who says 'I have this', or 'I have that'. I don't know.
So occasionally I mess with him, and sometimes step over the line of 'taste'. To see if he'll respond.
Which he won't.
