Let’s not forget that it was General Motors that bought the Los Angeles trolley system, scrapped all the trolleys, pulled up all of the tracks and replaced them with dirty, smelly GM buses.
They didn’t quite get all the trolleys and a few Pacific Red Car survivors are still around. I will laugh my arse off if a Pacific Red Car outlives the corporation that tried to kill it.
