They are. Try working with one in a business environment. Be prepared to get emails that should be a sentence, but are a paragraph. And a paragraph becomes three, etc.
I once was on a mass email where a communications major sent out a email to a bunch of people that was almost two full pages, filled with excess verbiage and that read like it was written for a bunch of middle school kids. Someone did a reply all and reduced it to about 6 bullet points of one or two sentences each.
That made the “communications” major cry how mean that was to do.
They actually stopped talking about Trump for more than 10 minutes,too.
Sounds like Bernie was a fan of “Summerhill” by A S Neill. Hugely popular in the early 70’s among hippies and leftists looking for support in rejecting child rearing methods that had been tested for thousands of years. Utterly discredited, mostly fiction, sort of like Margaret Mead’s work.
