It was stated in a previous thread that the virus can spread thru A/C Hearing ducts.
There has never been a flu epidemic in the USA after April and there won’t be one now.
If we can just keep CV out of the general population until then, we may have a few nasty clusters. But, there will not be a mass epidemic.
What is said over the Tenirifle island episode...Italian doctor on vacation had symptoms. Tested the guy....has the virus, but they are running second test on him. Meanwhile, they ordered all 1,000 guests to stay in their room until each one was tested and results known. Just guessing, but getting this done and results back....probably 3 days.
I suspect virtually everyone is prepared to leave the resort now, as soon as the quarantine is lifted.

So far the false positive rate is 100%.
At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.

however, I would not be surprised if this covfefe-19 was released to intentionally crash the market and get President Trump out of office in November.
And Influenza A and B continue to out pace Coronavirus in deaths and hospitalizations.

I’m waiting for coronavirus to hit Mexico - then seeing what happens at the border.
From the articles I’ve read it looks like the government is resigned to the fact that the virus will spread through the US. They are only hoping to slow it enough to prevent overloading the health system. Maybe get lucky and the virus fizzle out when the weather gets warm. Or hopefully get a vaccine developed quickly before it ramps up again next year.
Everyone needs to take a deep breathe.
All we have to do is slow it down long enough to make a vaccine, which as the President has said is very close.

They said retailers like Walmart and Target could start running into inventory issues with products coming from China. Duh. They did not mentioned empty shelves. Their statement would be true if it happened with even one product.
RAMPAGES THROUGH ITALY... yet no numbers provided. Meanwhile, Flu A has affected 29 million, hospitalized 280,000 and killed 16000 in America in 2019 - 2020. Don’t hear much about that.
If we can’t test anyone for the CV, how are these other countries testing people?
