Most states that deploy ALPRs also pass legislation prohibiting the obscuring of license plates in any way...including these photo blocker sprays which in essence increases reflectivity and in some cases emissivity of the license plate/image, effectively washing out/blind the ALPR

Not only will they use this for surveillence, but they will also use it to tax you per mile driven, and if you get between two points too quickly, they will issue you a speeding ticket automatically. They are already doing this in certain section of highways on the east coast.
