San Francisco, CA – San Francisco’s new district attorney fired several senior prosecutors on Friday, just two days after he was sworn into office.

Chesa Boudin, who ran on a platform to fix the city’s “broken justice system” and put fewer people behind bars, was sworn into office as district attorney on Wednesday, according to KTVU.

"I had to make difficult staffing decisions today in order to put in place a management team that will help me accomplish the work I committed to do for San Francisco,” Boudin said in a written statement released after the terminations became public.

The new district attorney is a career public defender who is the son of two cop killers and had never prosecuted a criminal case in his life before he became the district attorney of crime-ridden San Francisco in the city’s latest election.

One would think wrongly. Remember that smarmy police chief who was always after Dirty Harry? This is him squared to a power of 1000.

That’s how you clean house.
Fire the top management and bring in your own people.
It’s what Reno did at DOJ.
It’s what Holder did at DOJ.

Circling the drain and claiming it’s a carnival ride. An epic apocalyptic event or series of events is about to rain down on the entire Pacific northwest coastal regions. Much of that rain will be $hit and unchecked violence. It won’t be safe to go outside. Six months, tops.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chesa_Boudin

Boudin was born in New York City.[1] His parents, Kathy Boudin and David Gilbert, were Weather Underground members.[2]

When Boudin was 14 months old, his parents were arrested for murder in their role as getaway car drivers in the Brink’s robbery of 1981 in Rockland County, New York.[1][3] His mother was sentenced to 20 years to life[4] and his father to 75 years to life for the felony murders of two police officers and a security guard.[5] After his parents were incarcerated, Boudin was raised in Chicago by adoptive parents Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn, who, like his parents, had been members of the Weather Underground.[6] Boudin did not learn to read until age 9, a phenomenon common to children of incarcerated parents.[7] Kathy Boudin was released under parole supervision in 2003.[3][8]

Boudin descends from a long left-wing lineage. His great-great-uncle, Louis B. Boudin,[9] was a Marxist theoretician and author of a two-volume history of the Supreme Court’s influence on American government, and his grandfather Leonard Boudin was an attorney who represented controversial clients such as Fidel Castro and Paul Robeson.[10] Boudin is also related to Michael Boudin,[9] a judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, and Isidor Feinstein Stone, an independent journalist.

I lived in Rockland County when the Brinks Robbery went down. I was 13 at the time. I often went to the mall where it happened.

Yep. Seems insane to vote for a DA who promises "fewer people behind bars", yet that's what San Crap-cisco did.

This is the definition of a self correcting problem

Might take a while to correct, it is San Francisco after all, and the results may be unpleasant but eventually the problem will correct itself.
