Reminds me of a 1920s overland expedition which set off to drive from Lebanon to Peking. When they got to Persia, the locals wanted to kill them because the explorers were not moslem. They made it to Peking, and found no one cared about their expedition.

The spoiled leftists support the Iranian regime no matter how many dissidents or gays they kill - all that matters is they are the enemies of Israel and the U.S.

If Obama was in charge he’d probably send troops to Iran to help them put the protests down. But silly me, if Obama was in charge he’d be hosting Suleimani to a state dinner to award him a medal instead of atomizing him so there’d be no protests from freedom yearning Iranians.
So what’s all the talk on here about how they’re really not arabs but “Persians” as if it makes a difference?

There’s sometimes NO hardship in many lives growing up these days.
No depression. No hot world war. No supporting 3 generations under one roof.
It’s easy to walk away from many problems or trouble today with no real consequences.
If challenges and tribulations make the man, our country is in a bit of trouble.
Irony... some air traffic controller didn’t get the memo that there were to be no departures from Tehran Airport until the “all-clear” went out. And the government may fall over it?
The CIA can work to destabilize the Iranian regime since 1979, and nothing, but some clerical error brings them down? Do we really even need a CIA? They seem to be more of a threat to our liberty than they are to our external enemies.
Supposedly when the CIA brought down Mosaddegh all it took was 2 plane loads of guns and ammo. Now I'm not arguing the justice of that action, but you have to admire the efficiency of it.
